Friend Phil Hulst spotted Clyde and me scarfing down freshly-fried ooey-gooey goodness in this clip from ABC News!
The segment was shot last Saturday morning, when we were at Atlanta’s Sublime Donuts, having an A-Town Cream (or two … or three) for breakfast. Looking back, I can’t believe I haven’t raved about the place on MadeByMark already.
My personal favorite is the Reese Cup (donut, chocolate topping, chopped Reese’s cups on top, peanut butter in the hole), followed closely by the A-Town Cream. Clyde’s a fresh strawberries and cream kind of guy, but he also likes the Maple Bacon, with real crumbled bacon on top.
The Sublime Donut shop experience is one of a kind — well, two of a kind, if you count their other location … in Bangkok, Thailand (my second favorite city on the planet after Atlanta). We’re headed there in October — not just for the donuts, but I do have to admit I picked our hotel for that trip precisely because it’s just a block or two away from Sublime Donut’s Bangkok location!

Hey, Jennifer! That’s exciting to hear! We’re going to be there from Oct. 5th through the 13th. If we’re all there at the same time, we should meet and have dinner!
